Does Verizon do background checks on employees when they hire them?

I'm going to guess yes, but it would appear that it's not necessarily a disqualification if it doesn't come back clean. According to this list, Verizon is one of the companies that hires ex-cons and felons.

I imagine which jobs they would hire you for are affected, but the best way to find out would most likely be to try and get a job at Verizon. They'll let you know. 😉
