this is my first day "technically" with Verizon at home, and let me tell you  I HATE IT!  the customer service SUCKS, and the equipment sucks, and we were LIED to by the sales person who told us that with Direct TV we would have DVR capability is all the rooms we hooked up.... LIAR!  only if you PURCHASE the other DVR equipment!  so, my home phone is STILL not working! and I will have someone here tomorrow... (yet another tomorrow) to fix the SAME PROBLEM I HAD SINCE SATURDAY!  NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER, and will DEFINITELY BE TELLING EVERYONE I meet about this HORRIBLE experience (and for a 2 year contract)  gonna be a LONG talk...

Me too! ...and many more here on the board. I'm going on the second month of insanity. Last month landed me in the hospital. Now, when I think of attempting to contact Verizon, my body starts shaking immediately.

If one has the patience of a saint, the tolerance to not only set aside a possible few days to attempt to resolve an issue, but the acceptance to struggle with heavy Indian accents...to accept that they pay no attention to what you are saying...to put up with their scripted garbage ..." I apologize for your  inconvenience. I will definitely help you"... (I vomit here)... Know that very, very few of them have any knowledge but are thriving on jobs that belong to Americans who are out of work... That you will rarely accomplish anything and last but not least, Verizon doesn't give a dam*.

Maybe corporate America has an entirely different experience...Residential? Forget it. It becomes like a Fellini movie. Incomprehensible.

If you are that bothered, you need to get help!!!!   Cancel Verizon and find another outlet.  Try reading a book!
