Is the gateway G1100 compatible with 150/150 internet, TV, and Digital Voice Service?  If not, which one works best?  I want to buy my own equipment.

Yes it is.

You will need Ethernet run from ont to location of router for internet.

And coax for TV service.

If you are not going to use Verizon stb for TV service, you can use any commercial router you wish.
