I have a Verizon pole at the edge of my backyard . Recently I bought a wide body SUV. Couple my rear view nearly touched the pole. now I want install a gate to protect the property, and refinish the floor. . The issue that the pole is in way of the gate and also hazard while parking the car. Recently, a few contactors showed up at my backyard. I didn’t know was going on. They said they were contractors hired by Verizon to reinforce the pole.
Firstly they entered my property without any coordination or appointment or permission. It was clearly a case of trespassing. I think I have the right to stop any unauthorized construction by Verizon on my property.
Secondly, and more importantly, Verizon has failed to provide any documentation of easement to my property. How do I go about forcing them to provide easement documentation?
thx
