"Your account has been disconnected" for no apparent reason?

When I signed into my account online, it says "Your account has been disconnected. You have no payment due at this time." My account has been on autopay and kept current. I did not receive any warning or even a notification. I did not request any changes to be made to my account. I can't get any answers. I've been on hold with 1-800-verizon for an hour. The support chat just leads me in an automated loop. Has anyone else experienced this?
