I've received two calls today from{edited for privacy} claiming they're from Verizon about my account. Specifically of the changes I've made recently.
Did anyone get one of these and can someone from Verizon tells me if the phone number {edited for privacy} is yours?
Thanks.

Have you made changes recently?
BTW, a quick google of the number shows most people reporting it as a scam.

Sounds like the call was a scam to me.

I would like to know if it's a scam or not as well. They are VERY convincing if it is a scam. If you call them back, it sounds like Verizon and they have elevator music as you are waiting and they apologize for the long wait, and so on and so forth.

Basic way to stop scammers is don't use the information they provide.
Call Verizon using a phone number they list on their website.
Just like emails. Don't click the link they provide, enter the link directly.
