unable to redeem $100 fios gift card

When signing up for fios, the agent on the phone told me I was eligible to get two $100 gift cards as an incentive for signing up. I recently received a couple of emails informing that my gift cards were ready to be redeemed, but when I click on the link, the page does not load at all. I tried switching wifi networks and using my data to load the page to no avail. The page simply will not load. I see that multiple people have been having similar issues, so I sincerely hope Verizon has not deliberately made the gift card redemption process harder to discourage people from getting their money back.
