AOL Mail Service Start Up

I went through the Start Up proces but have not received a VERIFACATION code.  

Also, do I reset the incoming and outgoing servers to incoming.aol.verizon.net & outgoing.aol.verizon.net?

Don't change the server names that way.  Not sure what the names are but they don't end verizon.net.  The existing names smtp.verizon.net and pop.verizon.net were made aliases of the aol.com servers.

Lots of reports of similar problem.  Assuming you own the domain, i am not sure who you contact in AOL (NOT VERIZON) to get this corrected.  Some have implied they reached someone who said they were working on correcting it for them.
