Attempt to Cancel FiOS service

I receievd a message that told me my service would be terminated on 8/9, tomorrow. My contract runs out on 8/11. I spoke yesterday (8/7) with an agent at 844-837-2262 who gave me a cancellation order number. I double checked that today at my online account with a chat rep. He claimed there is no ca ncellation order on my account. I want my account to be terminated as of 8/11 and I want to receive the UPS boxes to return the equipment. CAn anyone help me getg this straightened out? Appreciate any help offered.
