Continuous sign in for email

Although the "two week" block is checked (each time), in order to retrieve my email I must sign in EVERY time.  A "live chat" representative spent quite a bit of time very recently in attempting to resolve the problem.  Since "live chat" is currently unavailable, my problem continues.

If you have your privacy or security setting in your browser to delete cookies and other data on exit, the login will not stay. To the best of my knowledge a cookie gets set on your PC to keep you logged in. May not be the most secure thing to do. Cookies can get retrieved by malicious web sites. Or any website for that matter. The whole purpose of deleting cookies on exit. I do not believe the user data is stored in plain text, but I like security. So unless I have my browser open, I would prefer not to stay logged on. I also do not let my browser remember passwords.

Also it you have other security software on your PC, this could also be preventing the data storage required for staying logged in. Not saying it is or to remove any security software, but could be a possibility.

I know my browsers are set to clear this data, so once I close my browser I am logged off.

So it should be a fairly simple answer to solve, and should not take hours.

What Browser are you using? I can check IE and Firefox settings.

Firefox 3.6.13. It can be found under tools/options/privacy/clear history when Firefox closes. Check box. Also settings can be adjusted there. Under the security tab there is also a section for saved passwords.

IE: 8. Tools/Internet Options/Browsing History and also the Privacy Tab.

Also under IE8 you could add Verizon to trusted sites under the security tab. If you trust Verizon.Smiley Happy
