Issue redeeming Visa prepaid card

I received an email about redeeming my Visa prepaid card but when I click the link in the email it does not work. When I log into my Verizon account, I see the buttons for redeeming but when I click it it does not work. I am highly frustrated because it has been months. Can anyone help?
