Hey Verizon -- you're kidding me, right? Tried to retrieve email & got a message that my "account is in maintenance mode". WHAT, in all that's good & holy, is that about? Your internet service makes me sorry I left Comcast.
Were you affected by the recent email issues? If so maybe your folders and or email is being restored. If you are already restored or were not affected I would comtect VZ support.
I lost email over weekend including folders - then it returned for a short time but for last 2 days have been getting same message - today i was told it would be fixed this afternoon - nothing yet
We have been unable to send emails through smtp. Only realized when we saw time sensitive emails in our outbox from 2 days ago. 1 hour on the phone with support later and walking through setting up email I am told it was a known outage. Where was the notification from Verizon? What is the point of outage notifications on an account if they are not used.
Appalling service.
On the phone I was told the maintenance mode issue will be fixed tomorrow.
