I just installed a news reader and it asks for the server name. I'm using the verizon wireless air card. When at my desk top I use "news.charter.net", without quotes and no problem. I don't know what to use for the verizon wireless air card. I tried news.vzw.com and news.verizonwireless.com but neither work. I can't access newsgroups using my laptop and the air card.
Thanks for any assistance.

The News server settings are..
News (NNTP) server: news.verizon.net
Your Verizon Online user name
Your Verizon Online password
*
From source:
http://www22.verizon.com/ResidentialHelp/FiOSInternet/Email/Setup+And+Use/QuestionsOne/86782.htm
Please note while in the URL it clearly says FIOS, I have DSL and those settings work fine here..
