Yep. $10 to return a faulty DVR box to the FIOS kiosk in the mall. I risked my life driving on the icy roads to find out that since the DVR box was sent with a return label, that by personally bringing it to the Verizon FIOS kiosk, I got charged. Well, who was going to pay for my gas to get to the UPS office to do the return? Ridiculous.

You can call for a UPS pickup.

Not exactly. UPS wants $9.95 to pick up. So, I'm out $10 either way.

They don't normally charge for pickups when there is no local UPS locations.
WAIT for better weather before trying to return boxes if you have icy roads.
