Recently Ive noticed my internet is quite a bit slower, and frequently loses my connection, usually first thing in the morning.

Can you provide more details?
Is you connection wired or wireless?
From one device or multiple?
Can you run a test to speedtest.Verizon.net?
Do it when good and bad and post results.
