Text spam or T-spam problema

Where is the Text spam or T-spammers control on IPod Verizon App? Getting and paying for advertising in text messages on my mobile phone text messages with no recourse to abate the problem. Cost and time and customer satisfaction are factors in controlling text spammers. Help anyone?
