I've taken my FiOS-G1100 Router with me overseas, hoping to use it here. Currently my only source of internet is a 4G internet USB dongle. I want to plug it into the USB port on my G1100 Router and connect to the internet through the dongle. Is this possible?
I've managed to share this connection through my laptop's Ethernet port by plugging the dongle into my laptop and then 'sharing' internet via ethernet into the router. However, when I plug the dongle directly into the G1100, nothing happens. Any ideas?
Short answer is that G1100 doesnt have USB port active.
