Verizon gift card link not working

My Verizon Internet service has been open for more than 2 months, and I got an email telling me that I can redeem a $50 gift card. However I tried multiple times and the online link never worked. It either brought me back to my account home, or showed "Due to a system issue, the reward website is currently unavailable. Please try again later". I have found many other users to have the same problem. This needs to be solved.
