does anyone at verizon actually monitor or maintain the spam filter? after getting 10-20 messages a week, i'm constantly attaching to an email to spamdetector.notcaught@verizon.net and seems to have absolutely no affect after doing this for months. just checked my mail and have 13 junk emails since yesterday morning. i'm really getting fed up with offers for dish network, free credit reports, reverse mortages, electronic cigarettes, discounts for insulated windows, dr. oz hair growth miracles, flex-able garden hoses and walk-in bathtubs.
Yes some one monitors it, but I think its another vendor that Verizon uses for the Spam filter. And yes its less than a perfect spam filter. The way they do the filtering is not a simple match of suspect email senders.
