This would be a problem with the outlook, not your Verizon service. Hopefully one of our users has the answer for you. If not, you might want to post on a Microsoft message board. Best of luck to you!

The only change to the Verizon email service was the port numbers for email transmission. This has nothing to do with password. If your ports were incorrect, you would not be able to send/receive at all regardless if your password is stored automatically or manually typed in. If you are manually typing the password in and its going through, it has nothing to do with your Verizon service. The auto password storing is a function of your Outlook. Verizon has nothing to do with how your password is stored in outlook to be sent to the email servers automatically when its sending/receiving information. You said everything is the same so it can't be a problem with Outlook, this is not neccesarily true. Things break, this is why tech support exists. Please followup on a Microsoft blog for support.
