Me and my fiance have been having microphone problems I'm not sure what's going on we both exchanged our devices at the Verizon store and the same issue is reoccurring before exchanging devices we tried new SIM cards that didn't work troubleshooting that didn't work factory reset that didn't work called 611 in tier-2 did an incident report or something to fix some towers or something not sure but the results came back with no issues with any towers in my area but this also does not happen just in my area and it's not just happening at my home or workplace or gym it's happening everywhere we go I called Google and Google is aware of the issue in states that this is only happening with Google pixel and pixel XLs purchase from Verizon which is totally weird but I actually got my device at Best Buy for Verizon so I'm a little confused there.. we had extreme Drop call issues as well for our previous pixels but for the new replacement devices it doesn't seem as bad had it for 3 days now just really frustrated we actually left T-Mobile to pick up the pixels and came over to Verizon for the better service win win but turning out to be a huge disaster is anyone else dealing with this issue.

I have been having the same issue. I have swapped my phone out and have done all the troubleshooting and basically done all that you have. I have contacted google support numerous times and the issue isnt getting fixed. Tier 2 Verizon support has opened up a ticket for me with the engineers that work exclusively with the Pixel, they said that they have a direct line to Google support as well. I am currently awaiting for the results of the ticket. I came from the Note 7 so you can see how this is disheartening. Ill update this when the ticket gets resolved.

I'm having similar problems. Calls don't drop but my microphone stops working in the middle of the call. I can still hear the other person perfectly, but they eventually hang up.

Same here, getting discouraged as Google and Verizon techs state it is a waiting game. An update or fix date to be announced. Meanwhile, I restart my phone every few hours as I never know when a call is coming in that can't be heard by me the receiver sometimes when I place the call they cannot hear me so there is no pattern of troubles here.
Google is NOT getting my vote!!

The Google response in the linked article may be relevant to the trouble you've been having, particularly the second response from Google:

I think I'm done with the Pixel phones. Too many similar bad experiences reported.
Shortly after getting my Pixel, the WiFi antenna malfunctioned. I'm now facing the microphone issue that has been reported by so many. Phone started having problems with callers on the other end not hearing me. Sometimes, a reboot would fix the problem. Sometimes the microphone would quit working in the middle of a conversation. I first tried resetting all app preferences and just now did a factory reset. While setting up the phone as a new, fresh device, the microphone would not register my voice for the voice training. Phone has also been rebooting spontaneously.
I only use Google charging devices/cables or those that are Benson approved.
I've never had this much trouble with a phone, having used several other manufacturers. I know this phone is actually by HTC, but Google has demonstrated a pretty poor product in my experience.
I really miss my original MotoX. Had the best features and most reliable device I've ever owned.
