Group text issue with Pixel 7

I just recently upgraded to a Pixel 7 and have had no issues but tonight I received a group text for work. When people responded instead of everyone's response being in the same thread, it created multiple message threads (I've included a screenshot below). There are responses from multiple people in each thread, so it didn't create new threads for each response, but I'm not sure why it split them up like that. This has never happened before. I use the Messages app. I went into Advanced Settings and it's already set to "send an MMS reply to all recipients (group MMS)" so that's not the problem. Any help with this would be great.

I had the same issue. Did you ever end up resolving it? If so, how did you fix the problem? I'm having trouble contacting Verizon support so I figured I'd ask you.
