When will Verizon support Pixel 4 with eSIM? Seems odd that AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint do but the flagship carrier for Pixel doesn't.

Correct. Still no dual sim support for Verizon sold phones. that's what we are asking for here. (Repeatedly)

Not exactly. Verizon just announced an update which allows both the esim to be used and dsds to be enabled.

Good Lord, I've been posting about this, in this thread at least 3 times. it doesn't work. Dual Sim Dual Standby can't not (yet) be activated due to lazy or inept Verizon support.

It just worked!! Verizon must have changed something over the air. I just restarted my Verizon Pixel 4, went to Settings, Network, and pressed the + sign next to Verizon (note, I only had 1 sim setup at the time, being the physical sim. The eSim was empty). Clicked Download sim, like I have 100 times before, but this time I got the "Use 2 Sims" prompt... Activated the eSim with Google Fi.
So excited to finally be able to use this feature!

Can you get Verizon enabled on the eSim or simply another carrier with native support like Fi?

Chmellor, I can understand how important it is to use your e-SIM. The e-SIM is supported on the Pixel 4. What are you trying to get this activated on your account? Instructions can be found here https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/esim-activation-instructions/. - AlbertoR_VZW

I can understand that you have interest in using the eSIM on a Google Pixel 4, Amrivlin. Right now, that functionality is not supported. See #1 of the "Dual SIM with eSIM" section of this article for the devices that currently support "Dual SIM with eSIM"
Does this help?

@ryanm_vzw @vzw_customer_support
The below link a Verizon site contradicts your last comment and explicitly says the Verizon Pixel4 supports DSDS and to "follow these steps" to activate. When I attempt to follow the steps, I do not get DSDS.

Thanks for any further info, steps, or "date" this will actually work.

@vzw_customer_support I performed the Pixel4 update on 4/6/2020 "System Update 6" aka QQ2A.200405.005.
When I get to step 4, I am not presented with this option to enable DSDS.
I have also factory reset and still no option to enable DSDS as instructed on Verizon's support site: https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/google-pixel-4-update/

Really iPhones only. One day Verizon will understand the world doesn't revolve around iPhones. Sad and pathetic.

adamarcadipane,
We definitely don't want you to even consider leaving us. I regret any inconvenience to you (and the others here), and I really want to help. However, I don't have any information to provide you with, when it comes to a date for the eSIM. You are able to sign up for email updates, so you can be notified of new products and services: http://spr.ly/66011djut
