Dear Sir or Madam:
I went to the Verizon Store in Woodland Hills, CA on 02/06/17 and stated my issue with Google Pixel Xl phone I received informing the Manager, Ali and Justin the solution Specialist. Justin the solution specialist stated to me that " if the problem is overheating due to using the daydream VR APP, do not use the APP" I informed him one of the reasons I bought this phone was due to the the VR capabilities and he stated well sometimes you get defective devices and he implied I have to deal with the problem on my own.
I informed Justin and Ali the Manager about my dissatisfaction.
Then the Manager Ali stated that your phone is still under warranty and and ordered a replacement phone.
The replacement device (phone) I received was more defective that the original phone. It started heating up Faster and when I used the replacement device on daydream it got really burning hot.
I was also assured by the Manager Ali that the replacement device will be a new device instead of a refurbished device. However, what I received was another defective device which was more defective than the original device. Therefore, dissatisfied I am sending back the defective replacement device.
So no I am returning the device back to Verizon today.
Sincerely
M. Joonoos

Unless the device is within the 15 day return period. You might be better off going through Google Support. Since it's covered under the manufacturer's warranty yet.

The return policy period is 14 days.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
