Why Isn't The LED Light Working On My Pixel XL?

The LED light isn't working properly on my new Pixel XL. I chatted with Google and they sent me a picture that it should be fully across the speaker like thingy in the middle of the phone at the top, not the round circle to the left. I do indeed have it turned on in settings and there's a tiny, tiny light on the left hand side of the speaker looking middle area. Can someone please post a pic of their notification light lite up? I will return the phone if it doesn't have a real LED light as that is a deal breaker for me.

The small light towards the left of the speaker is the LED notification light. Here's a youtube video showing it.

Go to notifications in the settings menu and look for the gear at the top right, then make sure pulse notification light is enabled at the top of the screen.

I don't consider a half second LED flash that does not remain on to be an actual notification. Less than useful unless you spend your time staring at the screen waiting for a text message!

It flashes for longer than a a half second. You can also turn on the tap twice to turn on the display to check for notifications if the notification light isn't blinking.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I'm sorry you don't consider that useful. However that is how it was designed and it is working as intended.
