Why does the order I placed over the phone for a Pixel show it's not expected to ship till 1/6/17 when I can go to a Verizon store & walk out with one??? We were getting hounded weekly with calls to upgrade, and at no time did the sales person tell us it would take almost 8 weeks to get it! Why?????????

I believe you ordered a 128GB. As far as I know, retail stores only have the 32GB. If you ordered a 32GB online, just cancel your order and go pick one up at a retail store.
Some stores have the 128 GB model of the Pixel phone. I'm not sure if they have the Pixel XL 128 GB model available in the store yet.
