Today I chatted with a CSR to check on an issue with my Pixel XL order. For my troubles, he offered $2 off my monthly bill... Well thanks, as if that isn't a slap in the face. With T-Mobile and Sprint's prices, I don't think that is something to joke about...

It's not disrespectful. Petty, maybe. But he didn't have to. Offer you a thing. Gone are the days when companies have to offer any more than an apology, because people milked the system.
