My Google Pixel 2 keeps lowering its brightness by itself. I have both battery saver mode and adaptive brightness turned off, and it does it even when the battery level is high. Do you have any idea what is happening?

I know I would be puzzled if my phone's brightness changed by itself. When did this issue begin? Has there been any recent app download or software update?
