Connectivity on cell phone

I have had limited connectivity on my phone for several days at home. Especially after turning it off and on. The clock was a full hour behind and I couldn't send or  receive emails. Couldn't use Google or Facebook either. Also, when I sent a text, the date came up as January of 2002. Seems to happen more at home, although I have a brand new wireless router. Any help or advice???
