Being able to use your phone for entertainment purposes is a great way to use your device. With regard to using the phone as a video out to another device you would have to speak with Google support for options on how to do so. If it is capable to do so you would use Chromecast. Plug it into your TV, install the Cast app, and you’ll see a little cast icon in apps that support the standard, like Netflix and Google Music. Hit the button, and your content will automatically transfer to your TV. I hope this helps.

no it does not. People have tried various USB C adaptors and no go. Stock Android does not support DLNA or Miracast, and that is something OEMS tend to put in themselves.
