My Droid used to autopopulate emoji suggestions. How do you get that feature on the Pixel? Thanks.
I use the Verizon Messages app on my Pixel and it has the auto emoji's - for instance when I type Birthday, I get a pic of a cake on the suggestions bar ... is that what you mean?
It may be a function of your keyboard, or the texting app, or a combination of both.
