My messages app doesn't show that I have messages for a few of my contacts. I don't know I have a message unless I look. One of the contacts I cannot see I have a message from is my boss. He thought I had him blocked. Is this a known issue for pixel 6? Is there a way to fix it?
Which messaging app are you using, Google Messages, Verizon Message+ or something different? For whichever text app you are using have you tried clearing the cache for that app and then restarting your phone?
Scott5337 has the right idea. In addition, here are the steps to clear all app cache. Nothing is lost when performing these steps. It is similar to clearing the cookies on a computer.
