Pixel 6 Pro dropping cell service in major airports near UW signal

I work and travel to major airports - specifically Chicago O'Hare. My Pixel 6 pro will DROP service any time I am near a UW signal from Verizon! The phone appears to recognize the signal as it shows full bars, but then it will eventually say NO SIM CARD - NO SERVICE. This problem isn't limited to airports - it happens when it attempts connections at downtown locales as well in different cities. Tech support has been baffled - even after I have replaced the sim and completed a factory reset on the phone. Has any other Pixel 6 owner noticed this issue?
