Daughter recently started having a problem with some of her text messages not going through, both incoming and outgoing. Doesn't seem specific to the carrier of who she's texting, both Verizon and non-Verizon. This is a Google Pixel2 and she's had it for a while. She's in a well-covered area [Brevard County, FL]. We have three other devices on our account [2 smart & 1 dumb] and AFAIK none of us are having the problem. I don't know if this is a Verizon problem or a device problem. The troubleshooting I looked up only seems to address when you can't get ANY texts to go through. I'm stumped. Any help appreciated, she is an Itinerant Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing so texting is pretty important.
Your efforts are appreciated, let's get to the bottom of the messaging issue once and for all. Which messaging application is she you using? Has she recently downloaded any new applications? Does she experience the issue when she is not in Brevard County?
