Voicemail calling me, but is empty

On my Pixel2:  At least 7 calls to me from my voicemail box.  For most, nothing there, but twice a scam message claiming to be from Microsoft.  Tried changing my voice mail notifications setting to visual only, but still rings when this happens.  Anyone else?

Today at about 4:23pm my phone went off and when I looked at it, it showed my name and number and voicemail. I answered it but did not say anything, there was nothing on the other end, then I hung up. Not sure if this means my phone has been compromised or a hacker is working on it but am trying to research it now.  It would be nice if there was more information to your response since that may answer my concerns.

We understand how a call with your number showing can cause some concern cvturner. We are happy to help. You mentioned that it showed your voicemail. Are you stating that a voicemail was left from your phone number?
