Did anyone purchase a Pixel XL at a discounted monthly rate on Black Friday?

I didn't trade in a device with my purchase of the Pixel 128 GB, but the first resolution ticket came back as the credit denied because there wasn't a trade-in. I countered with the promotion didn't require a trade-in and they eventually found the promotion code that I posted here for the other community members to use in their quest to get their credits.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Thanks for sharing the promo code. I shared that with them and it's a no go thus far. It seems their position now is that if you did a trade in and got a higher than normal trade in value, it's a promo, and Verizon can't stack promos. My position is how was I supposed to know that when it is clearly posted on my Shopping Cart and Order Confirmation (which I even posted here) that I should be getting both? If they were upfront with be during the purchase that I wasn't getting the Black Friday deal, I wouldn't have purchased the Pixel XL. However, twice, during the Shopping Cart process and the Order Confirmation it clearly states I should be getting both credits and thus far they have been doing everything in their power to deny me. I angry and frustrated. I've never been treated in this manner by any business when I have produced such clear evidence.

I am having the same issue.  I bought 4 phones on black Friday - 2 Pixels and 2 Pixel XLs.  I have had to chat/call every month to finally get the credits on the Pixels, but still no credits for the XLs.  Now they are finally telling me that the promo didn't exist for the XLs, as all of you are sharing.  It's just incredible to me that this is happening! How is it possible they can ignore so many customers with the same issue?!

My thought is that if this was important to resolve. VSS would be watching this thread like a hawk to resolve issues. This looks really bad to anyone following along.

I've had the same problem as so many of you: Ordered one Pixel and one Pixel XL on Black Friday discount. They originally didn't give me the discount for either phone. After one long customer service chat online, they applied the promo for the Pixel, but not the Pixel XL. Then, after another long chat, they promised to apply the promo for the Pixel XL as well. Then, they didn't... Then, after a 2+ hour chat, they said they *think* it will be applied. Still nothing, almost two weeks after the last chat and nine months after the purchase. Has anyone contacted the Better Business Bureau about this? It's unbelievable how hard they make us work for the price we agreed to. I've saved all my Verizon chat transcripts in case it comes down to a class action suit.

Wow. what a brilliant idea. Luckily twitter transcript goes to the

twitter-verse. I have email transcripts too. Once someone organizes and

finds a firm willing to take this on, I will sign on too.

I too have had this problem. I have talk to them a dozen times they even gave me a conformation number in April but when I contacted them about in May and June they told me both times to keep trying and gave me other departments to try and nothing came of it so I took July off from trying but I had tried every month since February.

Folks I will keep posting on here until I get a resolution. I will keep everyone posted. As I mentioned earlier, I am willing to take this to court.

Good luck.  Sounds like you have more ammo than I do.  I either didn't save my order confirmation or I tossed the printout I made.  I'm on my 3rd online agent here too, after calling once a month for 4 months.  It's absolutely ridiculous the hoops we have to jump through to get the promotion they advertised.

Don't forget you should be able to see receipts on line in your account transaction history. Also check your email for confirmation numbers.

Finally got my credit, in a round about way.  They said they couldn't do the monthly credits, so they agreed to a one-time credit that is basically equal to the 11.XX or whatever for 24 months.  I'm happy with that resolution.  I just hope VZW learns from this and figures out where the disconnect happened.

Awesome! This is what I was able to get after many frustrating phone calls,

a one time bill credit.

Awesome! I'm glad some of us are getting the credit so rightfully deserved. I'm on my 5th different VZW rep from this forum and I sent him the same information as the other 4 before, Shopping Cart and Order Confirmation showing both:

1) Black Friday Pixel XL sale. $12.08/month credit for 24 months.

and

2) Trade in of Galaxy S6 Edge. $27.92/month credit for 24 months.

I hope they have finally got their act together and I will finally get my credit.

I think that is where part of the problem lies. The VZW only looks at the online transaction history and that doesn't show the Pixel XL sale/promotion. However, the order confirmation I have does. That's what so frustrating about this. They're like robots and no matter how many times I share my order confirmation page to them, it doesn't register. They seem to trust their online information as the "word of god". What I'm trying to get them to understand is that there is a glitch in the system that they feel so strongly about. It has been so frustrating. Worse than trying to talk to children. Worse than even talking to a wall or rock. I just don't get why they just can't read and accept my order confirmation. It's there as plain as day.

I am currently on the phone for the 7th time for this issue. I have 3 lines on my account. I bought 2 Pixels XLs (1 - 32gb and 1 - 128gb). Each line had an LG G4 traded in for the promo. I still do not have any of the Black Friday credits. Let's see how this 7th call goes...

We understand the importance of making sure you are receiving your promotional credits as promised. I have sent you a private message to further investigate the details. Please respond to that message. Thank you.

Just to give the community an update on my case. I am on my fourth different VZW rep here and still no resolution.  The latest excuse is that since I received a higher than normal trade in value for Galaxy S6 Edge, it's a promo and Verizon can't stack promos. Hence I'm not getting the Pixel XL credits. Unbelievable! None of this was print out on the Shopping Cart or Order Confirmation pages I provided them. It clearly showed both:

1) Black Friday Pixel XL sale. $12.08/month credit for 24 months.

and

2) Trade in of Galaxy S6 Edge. $27.92/month credit for 24 months.

I keeping sharing my shopping cart and order confirmation pages with them and they're holding ground thus far. Had they been upfront about not stacking promos I wouldn't have gotten the Pixel XL. I thought I was getting a a super Black Friday Special. So I gave the last two reps an ultimatum, give me my Pixel XL credit or I go to court. No response yet. A shame it has to escalate to this point for $289.92. In the end it will cost them and me more. All because simply refuse to honor what is on my shopping cart and order confirmation page which is what I saw when I made my purchase. So folks if you did a trade in and you got a higher than normal value, it's a promo and they will refuse to give you the Pixel XL credit, even if you have printouts of the shopping cart and order confirmation. I will continue to keep the community posted. Also, if anyone here knows of any legal counsel, please PM me. Not only am I interested in getting my case resolved, but everyone here too. I will need legal counsel for that.

Folks, another up date to my case. I'm on my 6th VZW rep asking for the same information. Add the two I called and that's 8. Amazing. I have physical evidence in the form of a Shopping Cart printout and Order Confirmation that I should be getting both the Pixel XL credits and the trade in credit for Galaxy S6 Edge. I don't understand it.

So lemme get this straight. A customer service rep contacted you here on

the forum, you responded, and they still told you they are not going to

honor the agreement that was made when you purchased the Pixel device on

Black Friday last year?

After my fiasco with VZW and the Pixel XL, I have purchased the other

phones outright from Apple and VZW to add them to my family plan. It sure

beats the [Removed] out of arguing with the monkeys once a month.
