Can a sim car be switched without causing any data issues

New sim card came with my replacement Google Pixel 7 Pro . should I switch the old one out? Will that cause any data issues? Thanks!

Sully57 I didn't realize that this was a replacement. You can use your old SIM card with the replacement device. It should work just fine. Keep the new one as a back up somewhere safe. ~Peter

Sully57 Good question! The SIM that comes with the device is the recommended SIM card to use. If your previous device was not 5G capable, then using the old SIM will prevent this phone from connecting to our 5G network. As for the old SIM card, I discard most of them by folding them. ~Peter
