I recently purchased this phone because my previous Google phone died. It's not an upgrade! Horrible! Had a hard time getting on my home wifi, texts aren't going through, smaller size. Hate it!

You can adjust the size of the text if it bothers you. It is that or you might want to get your eyes checked and verify you don't need glasses.

Wi-Fi - It might not be the phone that is having the trouble, but the router it is connected to.

If physical size is an issue, add a case for bulk. I know adding a thin case to mine solved the slickness and how slim it felt.

Text messages, did you use the SIM card from the old phone or activate the SIM card that came with the new phone? While I have seen they recommend using the new SIM card especially when switching to a 5G capable phone, I haven't seen any drop in service quality by reusing my SIM card from phone to phone. I would have to check, but I think my current is nano SIM card has been used in at least seven phones starting with an iPhone that I briefly was testing.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

If it's been less than 30 days since you bought the phone and you got it at a corporate Verizon store, have you asked if you can return it for a $50 restocking fee?

If you are that unhappy with the phone, return it or sell it and buy something that makes you happy. It's not going to get better on its own.  No one here can help with product dissatisfaction issues. Get a different phone and be at peace. Phones are not worth this kind of frustration.
