I have been on chat with Verizon for over an hour now and they are unable to help me choose a new phone because I do not have access to a phone. I know all of my account information etc. They repeatedly ask for any phone in the house, yep still no phone in the house.

Order it yourself online, I don't see what the issue is.

Did they explain why you needed you to have a phone available? We ask because usually if a payment is needed to complete the order, the payment information can only be done over a phone call.
Were there any issues with trying to place your order online through your My Verizon account?
