Phone call crackling on Pixel 8 pro

Have this random crackle noise with phone calls only.  New pixel 8 pro.  Anyone else? Solutions?

The phone has always has this issue but has become more and  more noticable.  There's no specific time or place when it happens.  During the majority of my phone conversations it's consistently occurring

I only notice it when the other individual is talking

We appreciate the additional details. Is this happening with all calls that you receive? Does this happen when you use Bluetooth for your calls?

I've got a completely different phone, but this exact same thing happened to me once when the network was super congested.  It was only the other person's voice that was crackling during the call; otherwise the call was working and both of us on the call could hear each other.  Have you tried checking your data speeds when the problem occurs?  My one occurrence was when my data speeds were below 1Mbps for everything.
