Texts are not received or received hours later. Phone calls incoming are going to voice mail and not ringing through. Need to restart phone and it fixes problem for a few hours. This needs to be corrected ASAP.

I know how important it is for me to receive my calls and messages in a timely manner, and we definitely want to help get this fixed. I know you mentioned that this first started after the Macrh update, and I wanted to gather some more details. What happens with outgoing calls and text messages? What issues have you had with your data service? Can you share the nearest cross streets and city where this is happening the most frequently?

I don't want to be rude but I don't think you all are reading what we are posting. The issue is random and intermittent and has nothing to do with location. This issue is affecting people all over the world, users on Verizon, on AT&T, on T-Mobile, on Rogers in Canada, on Vodaphone, etc., etc. When I noticed my phone was not switching from Wi-Fi to 5G the other day I could see a cell tower right down the road, my phone displayed a strong connection to Verizon. But my phone would not process that I had any data connection or call connection. As soon as I restarted my phone everything was fine, staring at the same cell tower. This is an Android issue that Google needs to fix, but you all at Verizon can help push Google to fix it right away.
If you really want to follow the script and check a location I was in zip code 37040 near Dunbar Cave Road and Wilma Rudolph BLVD. There is a tower nearby. I had no issues in that same location today. But tomorrow, maybe? And a phone restart will fix the issue for a day or son next time also.

Google released a second Android April 2024 update a few days agon and this seems to have been targeted to this radio firmware issue. Many people on Reddit have reported the problem no longer exists after the second April 2024 monthly update. My wife's Pixel 7P has not had any missed calls or texts since applying the newest update.
