Visual Voicemail not working on eSim account

I cannot get visual voicemail to activate for my eSim account. The regular SIM account works just fine. When I go into the voicemail settings, the "Visual voicemail" option is greyed out. I can see the words "activating voicemail" greyed out as well.

In my actual phone app, when I click on voicemail and the eSim number, it gives me a message saying that I may not receive messages until visual voicemail is fully activated. But I have no idea how to fully activate it.

 

Any help would sure be appreciated. I'm having to do the *86 thing right now.
