Sorry, I got it working after going in circles trying to talk to the right customer service. Was on hold for almost 2 hours total. Had to turn off wifi and she did something on her end . rebooted and it worked

Are you still having issues? What device are you coming over from? I received a Pixel to test out (was sent directly from Google but came with a Verizon SIM card preinstalled) but activation was simple because the sim card it uses is the same as the one in my iPhone so I just popped it in and it was activated. Otherwise...you should be able to just activate it yourself via My Verizon by activating the new SIM card on there and then installing it back into the device. Hopefully they already got you up and running though.

You are in the best place for support, hkarclark. I am here and happy to help! What message do you receive when trying to activate your device? That is far too long to be without an active device! Please send us a Private Note for assistance.

I'm having the same issue. This is the second time I've gotten a new phone from Verizon and I've had activation issues. First with the Note7, and now with its replacement. I'm getting really sick of paying for a service that I can't use.

What steps are you taking when you try to activate? Do you already have an active sim that fits in it or are you activating the SIM card that came with it? If so, have you activated the SIM card in My Verizon before putting it back into the Pixel?

Live chat was able to get me going, but there was never an option in my verizon to activate the new sim card. it just tells you to power off your old phone and then the new one on, but the phone just tells you to find better reception. for anyone having this issue just hop into a live chat, the wait was only a couple minutes for me and they had me going quickly.

I called customer service and received help that way. It only took a few moments, and it was activated.

I had issues with my Pixel activation as well. I popped the Pixel's sim tray out and made sure the sim was securely in the tray, tried again and it worked.

Everyone got their device yesterday or today traffic is high.
I tried activating two pixels today and had to call in each time.
