KAMack7007,
We know how important it is that you are able to place and receive your calls. What happens when you attempt to dial other numbers? What happens when you use a different phone to call this particular number?

Thank you for reaching out today. Being able to place calls from your device is vitally important. We're sorry to hear that you're receiving a notification that your call can't be completed, as the called party is temporarily unavailable. Let's work together to get this resolved. Are you experiencing problems placing calls to other phone numbers from your phone? That notification could also mean that the number dialed is being routed to a line or device that is not able to receive a call, the number you've dialed may be invalid, or the device is powered off. Are you able to contact the owner of the phone number using an alternate option? (e.g., texting, email, etc.)

I have been having this issue recently as well. It is only select phone numbers I get the error from, so I'm wondering if it is on their end. I work from home and use my personal phone to call clients, so I am always calling on private (*67) and have gotten this with two different peoples' phone numbers, but nobody elses.

I am also having this issue periodically when dialing select known, good, international numbers. Is there a way to know for sure if the problem is on their end?

We always want to make sure that you're able to make long distance calls without any trouble, mk120501. Please tell us, when did this issue begin? What countries are you dialing when this occurs? Also, what dialing patterns are you using?

Generally, that means the number dialed is routed to a line/device that is not able to receive a call. It could be the number is invalid, the device is powered off, there are no circuits to terminate the call (if a land line), etc. Does the hotel have other numbers, e.g. an 800 number that you can try? Could be they have a PBX (I'm showing my age) or other system for taking calls that is having issues.

In my case, there is only one number listed for the hotel - no 800 number. The answers so far are not very helpful. Are you saying that the problem is Verizon's and/or its equipment? If so, please say so.

bill4501, we definitely want to get to the bottom of this issue as quickly as possible. We are sorry to learn that none of the answers have helped you so far, but I am here to help. What happens when you make this calls? Do you also receive this error message? What happens when you dial another number? What is the make and model of your device?

For me, this problem seems to be only related to 800 numbers, including credit and bank support, my health insurance company. They have not been able to find the problem either. These are legit numbers for these companies, and they have worked for me in the past. I have a months old ticket with no resolution.

We are sorry to read that you are still having this issue, and we would like to get more information. Does this happen everytime you call these numbers? Did anything change from the time you were able to call the numbers, such as a new device or an update for the device?

If it is happening to multiple numbers, would appear to be a network issue, maybe local to your service. Are you making cell network calls or WiFi calls?

vyroubal, keeping you connected with calls is important to ensure that you have a good experience. We are here to assist. jav6 asked some great questions. Please let us know your responses. How are other services, such as text and data working? Are you able to receive calls?

I'm having the same issue with calling one number which is absolutely the correct number. They have TMobile. I can call and receive other numbers without issue. I did update my iphone last night to iOS 13.3....

TiffanyDro Keeping you connected is always our goal, and I'm sorry you're having problems calling one specific number. Let's investigate for you. Is this happening in a specific location? When did this begin? Share details.

I get this almost all the time. It’s ridiculous. While my other person on my plan their phone works fine. We have the same phone. So I don’t get it. I switched to Verizon so I can have better coverage and it’s not been great.

I get this every time I call my mother who has a landline. I have been able to get through to her if I call when driving somewhere and not at home so times but not always. This is obviously a big problem!

ShaunaH, we know the importance of ensuring you are able to contact your loved ones when needed. Let's take a closer look at this together. What is the make and model of our phone? Are you saying that this is happening everywhere that you use your phone to call your mother? Or does it happen when calling from a specific location?
