My e-mail stopped syncing

I noticed after several hours today I had not received any e-mail on my Palm Pre Plus. I restarted the phone and it didn't help. I removed my account and re-entered it and then everything I had received today downloaded. However.. nothing I have sent since has shown up and new e-mails are still not coming through to the phone. I have it sent to sync as e-mail arrives. Help!
