I have access to a Verizon Palm Pixi that has sat around for a while doing nothing. I think I'll pick it up. But I have a question: I have no Verizon contract and don't want one. Can I buy prepaid cards for this phone and activate it without signing up for anything? Then just refill with a new card as and when I need to? I'm not anticipating heavy use, so a contract makes no sense.
For info on Verizon prepaid, click on Plans at the top of this page, then prepaid.
Another option is to go here: http://forums.precentral.net/palm-pixi/. There are a few threads with details on how to use it on prepaid.
You can sign up for Prepay service with your Palm Pixi smartphone. Keep in mind that the phone requires that you have a $29.99 per month unlimited data plan. You can also sign up for post pay services without a contract, which might be more cost effective for you. Please call our Verizon Wireless Sales Department at 1-800-2-JOIN-IN (256-4646) for assistance signing up for service.
