Does anyone know about how many of the palm pres' are gonna be available at the Verizon stores on the release date?

Too many. Sales of this device aren't going to be spectacular. Inventory shortages shouldn't be a problem at all. Rumor was that VZW ordered 200,000 each of the Pre and Pixi.

Agreed. WebOS isn't exactly booming right now.
