Every HTC phone I've ever owned (TB, Inc 1 and 2 and now Rezound) had an issue w/ the album art work. I have about 400+ songs on my phone and it seems the player pics one album cover for all the songs. Quite insignificant, player works great but its annoying seeing a rap album cover on a rock song lol. Ive used grace note for art work but its pretty inaccurate and used other players such as Power Amp but they do not seem to work too well with the lock screen option and cutting out while using GPS.
Is there a way to delete all the album art work from the phone to where is just shows the default music pic? Or, are there any recommendations for better music players?
I never had a problem with wrong album art with my music on both the HTC Thunderbolt or the HTC Droid Eris. I was dragging and dropping the folders of music from my computer to the SD card of either device. Not all the music had album art, but that was because I didn't copy that art with the those songs.
I don't know what to suggest to fix it on your end.

i think i may have found out how to delete the album artwork after going into internal storage on the phone thru the PC
Android> Data> com.android.providers.media > albumthumbs
Deleted everything in there and now there is no album artwork on those songs that shared the same album cover...there are only album covers for those songs that had the artwork attached to the song itself. Now, how to get rid of those! I am guessing on these HTC phones (at least in my experience) that if the song does not have an album cover attached to the song, then the device uses an existing one by default? I dunno, still the best phone I ever owned!
From what I can tell, the default music player, if a song is missing artwork, likes to pull artwork from a different song in the same folder. To replace the artwork properly, I've found that Album Cover Finder works well.
