I have tried connecting the phone as directed in the device manual but the pc does not recognize it as a device that has storage. Has anyone done this?
You may have it set to charge only. When you plug your phone it, pull down the notification shade and select the USB plugged notification. This will give you the option of how you would like to connect your phone, choose USB mass storage. There is also a check box for whether or not you want to make it the default. If you do not set anything as default, it will ask you each time you plug in.
