Dialer killing battery

I am having an issue with the dialer using up the battery on my Thunderbolt.  It started very suddenly, a couple days ago.  I don't talk on my phone a great deal -- some days, not at all -- but the Dialer is using upwards of 43% of the battery.  Did you ever find a fix?  I've seen the same suggestions regarding enabling Bluetooth, and turning off those three sound settings that you mentioned.  And I've followed those suggestions, but until I know whether or not they help, I wanted to see if you've found anything else out about this issue.  Very disappointing, as I can't even upgrade until next June.  Thanks for any feedback you can offer.
